Torpedownia Babie Doły w Gdyni to unikalne miejsce związane z historią morskiego miasta. Jest to dawna baza morska, gdzie przechowywano i testowano torpedy oraz broń morską.

Historia Torpedowni sięga czasów II Wojny Światowej, kiedy to zdecydowano na umiejscowienie Torpedowni w Gdyni. Została ona zbudowana na zatopionych kesonach, około 300 metrów od brzegu. Swoją działalność rozpoczęła w roku 1942 i funkcjonowała prawdopodobnie do kwietnia 1945.

Dziś torpedowania to jedynie szkielet dawnej budowli, z której po wojnie wywieziono wszystkie sprzęty, a pomost i kolejki, które prowadziły do budynku, zostały wysadzone, aby nie można było dojść do samej konstrukcji.
