Pałac w Kłobucku

Pałac w Kłobucku, usytuowany na osiedlu Stare Zagórze, jest zabytkową rezydencją wzniesioną w latach 1795-1800 w stylu neogotyckim. Otacza go park o powierzchni 4,3 ha, który również figuruje w rejestrze zabytków.

Obiekt został zbudowany dla pruskiego ministra Christiana von Haugwitza. Przez większość XIX wieku pełnił rolę siedziby właścicieli majątku Zagórze. W kolejnych latach pałac przeszedł w ręce Benedykta Lemańskiego, Guido Henckela von Donnersmarcka i księcia Michała Aleksandrowicza, który odwiedził posiadłość w 1900 roku. W końcu XIX wieku budynek przeszedł gruntowną przebudowę.

Po I wojnie światowej pałac przeszedł na własność Skarbu Państwa. W okresie międzywojennym mieściła się tu Szkoła Leśników, a w latach 1952-1972 siedziba Prezydium Powiatowej Rady Narodowej. Następnie w budynku funkcjonował zakład odzieżowy Dom Mody "Elegancja".
