Centrum Sztuki Współczesnej Zamek Ujazdowski w Warszawie

Centrum Sztuki Współczesnej - Zamek Ujazdowski znajduje się w Warszawie. Obiekt ten jest usytuowany w sąsiedztwie parku Agrykola oraz Kanału Piaseczyńskiego, w obrębie Osi Stanisławowskiej. Zamek powstał na miejscu dawnej osady Jazdów, która została zniszczona w 1262 roku przez Litwinów.

W XVI wieku miejsce to zamieszkiwały znane postacie, w tym księżna Anna Radziwiłłówna oraz królowa Bona Sforza, która zbudowała drewniany dwór. W 1624 roku Zygmunt III Waza rozpoczął budowę barokowego zamku. W 1643 roku wejście do zamku zdobiły marmurowe lwy. Po potopie szwedzkim budowla straciła swoją funkcję rezydencyjną. W XVIII wieku zamek przeszedł w ręce Stanisława Augusta Poniatowskiego, który rozpoczął jego przebudowę.

Po II wojnie światowej zamek został zniszczony, a jego odbudowa rozpoczęła się w 1975 roku. Od 1985 roku w obiekcie mieści się Centrum Sztuki Współczesnej, które promuje nowoczesne tendencje artystyczne.
