Centrum Pieniądza NBP

Centrum Pieniądza NBP to unikalna placówka edukacyjno-wystawiennicza Narodowego Banku Polskiego w Warszawie, zlokalizowana przy ulicy Świętokrzyskiej 11/21. Uroczyste otwarcie miało miejsce 20 kwietnia 2016 roku, a dla zwiedzających Centrum zostało udostępnione podczas Nocy Muzeów 14 maja tego samego roku.

Celem Centrum Pieniądza NBP jest popularyzacja wiedzy o ekonomii i historii pieniądza w atrakcyjny sposób, z wykorzystaniem nowoczesnych technologii. Placówka zajmuje powierzchnię ponad 2000 m² i oferuje 16 tematycznych sal, w których można zapoznać się z rozwojem systemów pieniężnych, historią bankowości oraz rolą banków centralnych. Wśród eksponatów znajdują się m.in. skarbiec ze złotem, bankowóz i unikatowe numizmaty.

Centrum organizuje również zajęcia edukacyjne dla szkół oraz oferuje zwiedzanie z przewodnikiem. Centrum jest otwarte od wtorku do niedzieli, co czyni je dostępnym dla szerokiej publiczności.
